Jon Gunnar Bjornson

Bjornson, Jon Gunnar 73, died at home in Minneapolis on October 27th, succumbing to cancer. He was preceded in death by parents K. Valdimar Bjornson and Gudrun Jonsdottir Bjornson. He is survived by siblings, Helga Visscher (Pieter), Kristin Ode, (John), Valdimar H. Bjornson (Nanette) and Maja Bjornson, as well as nieces and nephews, Kristina Visscher (Jeremy Gordinier), Paul Visscher, Emily Ode, David Ode (Michele); many cousins, and many friends. Special thanks to nephew Paul, who assisted with his care. Funeral service will be on Sunday, November 13th at 1:00 pm at the Edina Chapel of the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Ave., Edina, MN 55435. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
