Ann Windsor Cavin

Cavin, Ann Windsor Age 71 of Minneapolis, formerly of Hudson and River Falls, died December 31 due to complications of COVID-19 infection. Predeceased by parents Dorothy Pickett Cavin and William Brooks Cavin, Jr., sister-in-law Donna Cavin and nephew Ben Cavin. Beloved sister of Brooks Cavin, III (Rita), Ed Cavin (Molly), Barb Cavin and Tom Cavin (Chris), and nieces and nephews. A graduate of Northrop Collegiate School and Skidmore College, Ann began her nursing career at Hennepin County General Hospital, and later at Breck School. Following a graduate degree in psychology and counseling from Goddard College, Ann worked as a child and family counselor in Minneapolis. Ann was a cheerful, kind and considerate soul and a passionate believer in justice for all. Ann's family would like to thank the staff at Walker Methodist Health Center and Abbott Hospital for their attentive and compassionate care. COVID precautions allowing, the family will plan a gathering of remembrance in the summer.
