Eduardo and I were in frequent communication until spring of last year ... at that time he stopped initiating and responding, and I am sad to now learn why. While studying with us through AFS Eduardo, Linda Hart and I had many fine, silly and outlandish adventures, and I think their mutual loss of each other was hard for them both. His career was in diplomacy, and his resume is impressive. I'm sad he is dead; he was humble, completely without guile and profound in his intellect and passion for knowledge. His death was sudden; and his legacy is great in his beloved Valencia.

Thank you Kris for letting us know about Eduardo's passing. I never got to know him in school and that is certainly my loss. Condolences to you, Linda and all his family.

I, too, am so sad that Eduardo has died. As AFSers together we shared many experiences, not only at school but on the bus trip before we all went home. The last time I saw him, he was waving goodbye as the passenger liner the European kids went home on pulled out of New York docks. I remember his enthusiasm for living, his love for music and a strong belief that, if one was going to do something, one should do it well.

A deeper, more personal obit for Eduardo.

I know he expected to visit in late 2020, and was searching for a reunion with Linda.

life is never ,one enough, right?

Make today one you will neither regret nor forget.
