I have nothing but wonderful memories of Pat, from UES through High School. She was gracious, and poised, and possessed a maturity that made her stand apart from her peers. Apart, but never above. She seemed very comfortable in the world, and that ease went into many of her relationships, I think. She was also fun, and very smart. I am sorry that she is gone and would have loved another chance to see and talk to her again.

When Pat started UES in Fifth Grade, she became part of the girl gang. A favorite memory was a giggling gaggle of girls at a sleepover at her house. Pat came to the twentieth reunion, well on her way to becoming an excellent scholar/leader . I remember asking her how Wendy (younger sister, fellow U Highite) was. Despite the twenty years in between, she was open and comfortable speaking to Wendy's ongoing health issues at the time. Like many of us have discovered, if you went to U High, your whole family, parents, siblings, cousins, were remembered almost as well we were! There is a ying and a yang to that.
Thinking of you, Patricia.

Pat was so beautiful and I really liked being with her. She had a great sense of humor and boy was she ever first pick in basketball!

Patty was another that had a locker next to me at U-High. She was always delightful and cheery. I saw an intelligent young lady that I felt would someday make a difference in this world. I was not in a lot of her classes but could not miss her in the hallways with her height. As a person, she made you feel important and was very approachable. I am sorry she is not with us to share her wonderful smile and ideas. TTFN
